An exciting new development has been created in the Seattle area, the Beacon Food Forest.

The Pacific Northwest is has a great diversity of tree species. If you are ever wanting to identify a tree, Oregon State University has created a website to help. Go to http://oregonstate.edu/trees/ and search by common name, scientific name, dichotomous key, or mystery tree.
